What we did.

Hilux N80 – Towing Calibration & DPF-Back Exhaust Upgrade

This Hilux N80 underwent a calibration tailored specifically for sustained load towing. We installed an XForce DPF-back exhaust system to improve post-turbo flow efficiency, then calibrated the ECU with a focus on safe torque delivery, reduced EGTs, and long-haul drivability.

📊 Before: 85kW / 371Nm📊 After: 108kW / 480Nm

The tune was developed with a 2.5-tonne caravan in mind, ensuring strong low-end response and smooth midrange torque without compromising thermal stability. Key protection strategies were retained, with adjustments made to fueling, boost control, and torque modeling for load handling.

This Hilux is now significantly more capable under sustained towing conditions, with improved engine efficiency and driver confidence.
