Notes from the tuner

What we did.

Mercedes CLA45 AMG pre face lift taking up the black Friday specials. Enhancing the stock turbine model the Antz Performance downpipe & frontpipe along with our phase 2 engine and tranmission calibration we were able to improve engine power & torque output by 56hp & +70nm. Vehicle feels fun and punchy to drive.

The engine calibration includes tweaks such as start/stop disable, reduction of throttle delays, unrestricted throttle opening and tweaks to thermal efficiencies of engine, transmission and charge temperatures.The transmission includes optimization of torque, pressures, shift properties, stall speeds & launch control configurations.

It not uncommon for the preface lift models to have a sensitive 4wd system to the dynameter which is why the before/after graphing is jiggered. This is later improved by Mercedes in the years to follow, face lift models only have the tendancy of this behavior when the 4wd components are operated in high temp conditions.
